Choir visiting Sheridan House to sing Christmas carols.
For this carol concert the Year 2 members of the choir were accompanied by some Year 4 children to sing to the residents of Sheridan House. A good sing song was has by all and the visit was rounded off with squash and chocolate biscuits!
Brixington Primary Academy were lucky enough to be asked to design and plant our own flower bed. It is located at the Imperial Road end of Manor Gardens. We had really good fun and a proud sense of satisfaction when we finished.
Well done to Kayleigh Bridson-Canning for having the winning design. It was a crown to celebrate the Queen's 90th.
Children selected from Y1 to Y6 have been lucky enough to be part of a very special experiment!
Brixington is one of the schools chosen to be part of a national experiment comparing seeds which have been up in space with Tim Peake and 'normal' gravity exposed seeds.
Let's see if the space seeds rocket up higher...or not!
