Our Nursery provides a warm, nurturing and ambitious start to your child’s education, firmly rooted in the EYFS Framework and guided by Development Matters to ensure every child makes strong progress from their unique starting point.

Children can begin their journey with us in Elms, our dedicated two-year-old provision with a capacity of 10 children. Carefully designed to meet the needs of our youngest learners, Elms places nurture at the heart of everything we do. Led by highly skilled Level 3 Nursery Practitioners, our small group size ensures that every child receives exceptional care, attention and carefully planned, age-appropriate experiences. We prioritise the Prime Areas of learning — Communication and Language, Physical Development, and Personal, Social and Emotional Development — providing daily opportunities to explore our extensive school grounds, develop early language, strengthen coordination, and build secure, trusting relationships in a safe and stimulating environment.

As children grow and turn three, they transition into Willow, our 3–4 year old provision, led by a qualified teacher and supported by highly skilled practitioners. Here, nurture continues alongside a carefully sequenced curriculum that deepens learning across both the Prime and Specific Areas of the EYFS, including early literacy and mathematics. Children benefit from a large outdoor learning space where they develop physical strength and sensory awareness, practise turn-taking, engage in cooperative play, and explore creativity. Our highly trained staff skilfully scaffold learning, extend vocabulary and promote curiosity, ensuring children develop the independence, resilience and confidence needed for a successful transition into Oak Class in Reception.
