First Federation Trust
We have a number of upcoming events this week and next, that will focus on our school values of respect and friendship.
On Friday November 9th we will be remembering 100 years since the end of the Great War. Children will learn the importance of remembering these events from recent history, and will be marching in formation and making poppies for a whole school display. You can make a donation on the playground at the beginning or end of the school day by purchasing a poppy, or your child can bring in a donation to their teacher on Friday. More information can be found by clicking this link.
On Monday November 12th, pupils are invited to wear odd socks for Anti-bullying Week. Assemblies and work in class will help children understand that we are all unique, and the important of celebrating differences. You can view the poster for Odd Sox Day here.
On Friday November 16th, there will be an assembly to teach children about the work that BBC's Children in Need do, which will be linked to our anti-bullying work. There will not be dressing up for donations this year, however, if you would like to donate to Children in Need via the school, you can drop donations into the school office. Alternatively, you can donate via the fundraising link below.
